Textiles Handeln: WOLLE          A workshop dealing with the multisensual use of wool as a material to hone regional potentials, led together with Katrin Steiger. The four-day intensive workshop took place at Eiermannbau Apolda and concentrated on a comprehensive examination of the material. The focus was on a process-oriented, open-ended use that promotes the intuitive approach of Thuringian wool. The eleven participants – diploma and master students as well as graduates from the Weissensee School of Art and Design Berlin, Burg Halle, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and University of Arts Linz from the fields of textile design, product design, graphic design, architecture and art – explored the versatility of the material and its extended possibilities.
